Rhino Fund Uganda is committed to working with local communities through an active outreach program. We teach about our sanctuary and discuss land conservation and animal protection.

One of our current projects is educating local communities on resource management. Deforestation to make charcoal is currently a very large problem in Uganda. Through instructing local communities on how to build more fuel efficient stoves, we are making an impact and helping to reduce the local demand for charcoal.
