Nile River Explorers - Rhino Fund Raft Race- November 14, 2009- Jinja, Uganda
$10,000 was raised in this event! A huge thank you to Leslie from Nile River Explorers for effortlessly arranging this successful day. Twenty teams raced for 5km on the Nile river. THE RHINO RANGERS won the event in a record time of 24 minutes and 10 seconds.

SAWA – Christmas Ball – November 21, 2009 – Kampala, Uganda
The SAWA (Southern African Womans Association) Annual Ball was held at the Protea hotel in Kampala on Saturday 21st November 2009. The Ball was held to raise funds for three projects in Uganda: Hospice, USPCA and Rhino Fund Uganda.
A very big thank you to Tracy Hathorn and her SAWA team for the many hours spent to make this evening very beautiful. Everyone took the “black tie” opportunity to dress their best! Everyone looked fantastic and had a wonderful time. It was a fabulous event.
